Maloja, the romanticism
In Maloja to find something truly special is not easy at all, but to find a home of the well-known architect Renato Maurizio is even more difficult.
This apartment is located on the top floor and has an open-space living with a stone stove, four bedrooms, one of which double, two twin rooms that have exploited the height of the ceilings to create lofts with beds, and a single room, also used as a double one. There are two bathrooms, both illuminated by windows. In all rooms there are pieces of furniture in larch, made to measure and antiques, which warm the atmosphere of this large apartment.
The balcony, dug into this stone building, lightens it and makes it match better with the mountain.
The stone building and the variety of different windows framed in white, convey a feeling of solidity and protection against the natural forces of the mountain.
Belonging to the apartment, there is also a very large Studio-flat with kitchen and bathroom finished with antique beams. The double garage on the ground floor has a dedicated area for private laundry facilities and a large wine cellar.
